“If every job could be done like this with no hassles it would be great. Clean job and very good job. Hasn’t spoilt the back of the house. Very pleased and happy with the job. Has stopped the rain coming under the doors which was the main problem”. Applecross
Brief:
The client was in need of some shelter to stop the winter rain from flooding her outdoor area. The outdoor living area was tiled and did not allow any water to drain through. We decided on the Cantaport PJR 5130, but required to be cut the length to accommodate the curved parapet wall. Overall the location was very challenging to accommodate.
PRIVATE RESIDENCE
Brief:
The client required a patio that would allow light, protection from the rain and ventilation. The only alternative was to install a KCR 5130. The overall width of the small courtyard wasm4.0m x 8.0m. The eaves of the house over hanged at 700 mm and we required a 1 m setback
from the main boundary. The kitchen window and dining sliding door faced directly onto the courtyard. The clients instructions was to not block out light but to reduce the heat factor. The PJR 5130 enabled the posts to be setback 1 m from the boundary and allowed
the roof to cantilever over the eaves. By cantilevering we managed to allow a small gap for ventilation between the main roof and the cantaport structure. The polycarbonate roof sheeting provides 75% heat reduction and 100% UV protection. It also allows filtered light. All bases covered!

“We are extremely happy with the patio. It looks great and is very practical. We can now entertain outdoors. What we love most is having no posts, so the kids can ride their bikes and skateboards and play easily and be protected from the sun:’ DM Dianella
Out Door Kitchen
Design Brief:
The client required a cover that would protect the BBQ and the Pizza oven. They entertain a lot outdoors, so they requested to have a cantaport cover from the boundary to cover the outdoor kitchen so to maximise the usable outdoor space. The only option was to use a Mini PJR 5.1 m long and reduce the cantilever to 1.6m. This option allowed the cantilever roof to span under the eaves of the alfresco roof. The installation process took 6 hours.

“The structure is very good ….Excellent in fact! It has allowed us to have an outdoor kitchen. We have had so many people comment on its simplicity in design. It really works for us. Paul Carroll” Stirling
``Any doubts I may have had were dispelled``...
Design Brief:
To install a cantaport carport with the posts on the boundary and cantilever over with enough clearance from the fence . The Cantaport PJR single 5.1 x3.0 was the best option.
“As soon as the doubled winged structure appeared as an exhibit, I was attracted by its stylish modern design, clean lines and clever engineering. Any doubts I may have had that it may not stand up to high winds, because it stood on only two uprights, were dispelled at the end of February 2010. That’s when the worst hail storm to ever hit W.A. caused so much destruction. My own conventional polycarbonate patio roof was completely destroyed, where as the exhibit remained upright with no hailstone marks. The single winged carport cover I chose suits & enhances my carport area. It was previously unattractive & open to the elements. I am one of many happy customers.” F. R – Wembley WA

Design Brief:
The client wanted to replace the existing timber patio with a new modern patio. He was not satisfied with what was available on the market & wanted something new with maximum cover & few posts. He also did not want to connect to the fascia of the house as he was wanting more height also. The wide beam was ideal to get maximum cover, with a Y connection so he can also have a cantilever in the main courtyard and an in line to cover the outdoor kitchen when completed. We only needed to do minor adjustments to the standard units.

… I just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our new aluminium patio. (Cantaport) The professionalism you have shown and as this job was obviously not straight forward the time you took to design and come up with several options that we could choose from was first rate. Also the installers were very friendly and left the site absolutely spotless after doing a great job. We would have no hesitation in recommending your company so thank you so much again for a fantastic job well done. – Colin Lester, Connolly
Modified to suit your application!
The design brief : Client wanted to replace a standard colour bond roof with the can ta port structure. The cantaport roof was to be installed onto existing brickwork that was the alfresco to the house. The size of the built brick alfresco was 4.6m in length x 2.0m wide.
Part of the house cantilevered over the alfresco area, so it had an overall width of 3m. The cantaport structure only required minor adjustments to suit the alfresco area. The main fixing points consist of two custom plates that had been manufactured using the brackets of the cantaport. The base of the bracket was cut and a plate welded on to the base. This plate was the main base connection on to the brick work. The beams had a sleeve designed that was fixed on to the brick work of the house. In total 4 main fixing points. The fascia that buts on to the brick work also had fixings into the brick work. The cantaport model used was a PJR mini 5.1 in Length x 2.0m wide. Part of the cantaport was overhanging from the
brick work.
Effective & stylish ...
Brief:
The client wanted to have privacy and a smart designed cover for the spa area and the small courtyard. He looked at the option of your more conventional patio covers but was not satisfied with the final products offered to him .. He was drawn to the cantaport design, because of its seamless finish, heat protection, privacy and was much more competitive in price. We recommended a cantaport PJR 5.1 x3.0 to cover the spa area and a PJR 2.9×2.0 over the small courtyard. Standard installation and no modification required to either cantaport.
“Everyone who has seen the patios is amazed at the contemporary styling and effectiveness!” Thanks once again and regards”Geoff B.
This CANTAPORT solution ticks ALL the boxes...
Design Brief: The posts are located in the centre of the car bays with the roof cantilevering each side. The end result was more cover for two vehicle’s, less posts with an architectural designed carport that enhanced the existing house. All within BUDGET.
Result: Cantaport KCR Y-Connection 5.0m x 5.1m colour SLC (silver) Installation completed within 2 days. The only solution to my carport situation was a cantilever structure so when I saw the Cantaport display on Salvado Road at Homebase I was delighted that I wouldn’t have to go through all of the drama of designing a prototype…and it just got better from there.
From our first meeting it was clear that Emmanuel had a genuine interest in my project and was keen to ensure that I had the most suitable carport for my home in terms of design and color. The installation was painless and it looks just gorgeous
People regularly stop and look, some take photographs and if I am outside they pay compliments or ask for contact details. Far more than expected, the Cantaport carport actually transformed the look of my home and I have no doubt added value.
As well as all of that it sailed through the March hail storm without a mark.
It has been an absolute joy working with Joe and Emmanuel and I would highly recommend them and their products.
Only the best for the best!
An innovative solution…
Our clients required something fairy special for the housing of their boat. It required minimal posts as space was restricted for manoeuvring the boat into the parking area. And they needed something with class.
Modifications were made to the Cantaport to suit its use: it was made 6.4m in length by 3m width, with a height of 2.8m to cater for the ski bar on the boat, the posts were set against the garage for maximum space, and to allow the gates
to be opened. The clients were thrilled with the cover for their boat.
Twice the wow factor
Design Brief:
The client wanted cover for two small cars and also their outdoor kitchen, but with miniumum amount of posts. The answer? An innovative solution using Cantaport technology: a split level Cantaport. The higher Cantaport is 3m x 5m, and covers the clients’ two cars, whilst the lower Cantaport shace provides shelter for the outdoor kitchen.
The ingenious Y-connection guaranteed miniumum amount of posts, and the posts are placed behind the wall, ensuring maxiumum space for the outdoor kitchen.
The rapt client said “Cantaport were able to provide us with an innovative solution to shade …We were pleased with both the quality of the product, and the final outcome. The firm’s staff were efficient at all stages of this project…
Simple yet effective
Design Brief: The client had a seemingly difficult brief: a large covered outdoor area that would a low ventilation but not have an excess amount of posts. The Cantaport was the perfect answer practically, and as the pictures show, aesthetically. Built over the existing a fresco, the cantilever effectively blacked out heat and light without sacrificing ventilation or that outdoor feel. Indeed, it has blended right into the landscape to look natural, streamlired and beautiful..
The thrilled clients said:
“We would like to let you know we are very happy with our new Cantaport product. It was a pleasure doing business with someone who is attentive, reliable and pays great attention to detail. The service provided met our expectations in the whole process from ordering through to installation and in the quality of the finished product.
The cantaport lifestyle
The client needed shade for his boat and car. Having seen the Cantaport before, he was attracted to its simple yet striking design. The answer to his need was a wide-beam construction Cantaport, spanning 6m x 7.2m. It was powder-coated the cream colour tosuit the client’s housing.
I just wanted to say thank you for your professional services and the time in which youinstalled our Cantaport. It is a very smart, eye catching product and I will have no hesitation recommending the Cantaport to all other friends and family….
St Louis Estate
Design Brief:
St Louis Estate required to replace the existing enclosed garage’s with a more vibrant design that was more suitable for the tenants. They selected the Cantaport option based on the modern design and the space that it created compared to the existing garage’s. The superior finish and the freedom of less posts was a bonus for the elderly tenants. Currently the estate is undertaking major renovations and the Cantaport design and finish complement the overall project. The design decision was based on maximum coverage with less posts.
We designed two PJR 5130 Y connections that provided more space, height, light parking for 3 cars and walkway The walkway will be converted into fourth bay in the future.
